Chris Jones
Chris Jones is a true triple threat with multiple credits as an actor, dancer and vocalist. He has numerous film and television appearances that include YOU GOT SERVED, FORREST GUMP, BATTLEFIELD AMERICA, NO VACANCY, BIG MOMMA’S HOUSE 2, SOMEBODY HELP ME, O, LOST IN PLAINVIEW, CSI-MIAMI, CSI-NY, WILL and GRACE, MAD TV, SNL and many many more.
As a dancer Chris has performed and worked with numerous recording artist’ such as BRITNEY SPEARS, N’SYNC, J-LO, P.DIDDY, BUSTA RHYMES, DREAM, DESTINY’S CHILD, JESSICA SIMPSON, CHRIS BROWN, BEYONCE and appeared on worldwide tours, music videos and award shows such as the MTV VMA’S, MTV MOVIE AWARDS, BET AWARDS, SOULTRAIN AWARDS, TEEN CHOICE AWARDS, PEOPLES CHOICE AWARDS, AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS, EUROPEAN VMA’S, GRAMMYS and iHEART RADIO AWARDS. Some of his other stage credits include the Broadway shows CAMELOT and THE SECRET GARDEN. He also has credits as an actor and dancer in commercials and industrials for companies such as PEPSI, NIKE, DISNEY, MAC COSMETICS, MACY’S, FOOTLOCKER, SAMSUNG, PANASONIC, McDONALD'S, SONY, PLAYSTATION, ADIDAS, SKETCHERS and REEBOK.
Chris is not only a performer in many realms of the industry but also has a love for choreographing, teaching and creative directing. He has worked with artist and companies like TAYLOR WATSON, NLT, ONE CALL, JUSTIN THORNE, TRAVIS GARLAND, WILLOW SMITH, N’SYNC, WORLD OF DANCE, AMERICA’S BEST DANCE CREW, DANCING WITH THE STARS, ADIDAS, PANASONIC, INTEL and NIKE to name a few. He can be found traveling the world as a master teacher, choreographer and judge for many conventions, studios, workshops and competitions.
Currently Chris can be found teaching and sharing his love of dance all over the world as well as at home in Los Angeles, CA. He is now in pre- production as a leading role in his newest dance film, the much anticipated sequel YOU GOT SERVED 2: WINNER TAKES ALL and just completed filming as a lead in the upcoming film TRIGGERED. He is also a choreographer and co- creater on the new CBS television series THE ACTIVIST. He is always on the go and constantly working to create and innovate. Ellie Soto
An Arizona Native, Ellie Soto, grew up training andcompeting in all styles of dance at Danceworks By Dannis in Mesa, AZ. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University on a Presidential Academic Scholarship, she moved to California to begin her professional dance career. Since moving to the City of Angels and signing with Go2Talent Agency, Ellie has danced on TV shows such as The Billboard Music Awards and The Ellen Show as well as in music videos for Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Becky G and Chris Brown just to name a few. She most recently performed in the Super Bowl LVII Halftime show with Rihanna and can be seen dancing in multiple episodes of Season 3 of Apple TVs hit show “Physical.” In addition to commercial work, she has had extensive classical ballet and modern training that she furthered through Alvin Ailey’s Professional Division Summer Program. Ellie was also a member of Emmy Award Winning Tessandra Chavez’s Contemporary/Hip Hop Company “Unity LA.”
Ellie began traveling the country assisting at the age of 16 & feels so lucky to personally have assisted for and been mentored by Tyce Diorio, Tessandra Chavez, Tina Caspary, Judy Rice, Chris Jones, Nancy Omeara &the late Greg Russell. Ellie has been associate and assistant choreographer for many of the industries greatest choreographers, including Galen Hooks, and Kyle Hanagami for numerous music videos, live performances, TV shows, as well as for Simon Fullers New Hit Pop Group NOW UNITED and THE FUTURE X.
Ellies’ own choreography has won multiple National Awards such as The Pulse On Tours’ National Choreographers Pick. She is currently the head pro assistant and a guest faculty member for the National Touring Velocity Dance Convention. She has choreographed commercials, music videos and live shows for ZZ Ward and for Lindsey Stirling’s national tour. Ellie is excited to bring more of her choreographic fusion of all styles and deep love for classical technique combined with unique movement to the industry.

Hip Hop Mini Series With Brandon and Alex

This mini series will be an awesome 4 weeks of progressive Hip Hop style dance with coaches Brandon and Alex. This class is open to all levels of ability, with one prerequisite: a love for dance! Whether you’re brand new, looking to diversify your style, or to add some new moves to to your practice, this is going to be fun experience for all.

Brandon's Bio:
Brandon Dabu is a dancer, choreographer and teacher based in Reno, Nevada. As a kid, Brandon always loved to dance. He would try to teach himself techniques such as waving just because he was so mesmerized by the way the body could move. Soon after graduating from college, he stepped into a dance studio on a consistent basis and hasn't looked back. He embraced his strong love for dance and began to really express his true self. As a student and teacher of this art he enjoys training and pushing himself to better his craft, takes what he learns and discovers and shares that knowledge with the individuals he teaches. He believes in continuously growing together, bringing each other up, and sharing kind, loving and positive energy with one another in order to create an optimal learning environment that leads to consistent growth!

Alex Moya was born and raised in Northern Nevada. After joining the army, he graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno. Alex started dancing in 2020 and has since then focused on developing his skill in a variety of styles. Alex is inspired by and has gained training from industry professionals such as Dexter Carr and Scott Nicholson. He has performed in multiple shows including Midtown Mixtape, Hard Rock Male Revue, and the La India Yuridia US tour. Alex currently teaches Hip-Hop, R&B, and K-Pop classes at The Reno Empire.
